The intern`s daily tasks reflect the daily work of the entire department. We give articling students a real job that lawyers do to give them access to the different practice areas/practice areas in which we work. Interns support work that spans the full spectrum, including but not limited to media, social responsibility, partnerships, business, finance, compliance, intellectual property, and our partner leagues. Internal responsibilities include attending meetings, researching, preparing documents and assisting with the day-to-day legal work of the ministry. Examples of projects interns could work on: creation of guidelines and manuals on how to comply with youth basketball safety, equity agreements, player performance agreements, data protection work.
