As the head of Stockholm Legal Hackers in Stockholm, a local chapter for the global legal hacker community, she organizes the annual Stockholm Startup Bootcamp to bridge the gap between law and technology in a hands-on, hands-on workshop on design thinking-based innovation. She works as a legal technologist for DLA Piper Sweden and as a product manager for Hailey, a non-profit company and legal technology community. She has been involved with Hailey and Legal Hackers and has organized several legal technology related events. She established the Stockholm Startup Bootcamp to provide law, economics and technology students with interdisciplinary learning. Legal Hackers is a global movement of lawyers, policymakers, technologists, and academics who research and develop creative solutions to some of the most pressing problems at the intersection of law and technology. Through local meetings, hackathons, and workshops, hackers discover issues and opportunities where technology can improve and inform legal practice, and where law, legal practice, and policy can adapt to rapidly changing technologies. We regret to inform you that due to the coronavirus, Advokatfirman Delphi has decided to postpone the demo evening of The Human vs the Machine with Stockholm Legal Hackers. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and will contact you with a new date. We are explorers. We are doers. We are legal hackers. /Robert Gullander Founder and Director, Stockholm Legal Hackers The Stockholm Legal Hackers group was originally called Stockholm Legal Tech Meetup, but changed its name when it merged with US-based groups of legal hackers. The pressing issues and exciting possibilities at the interface of law and technology are best explored together.
By working across borders, we can create a truly global movement. The Stockholm chapter is the first group of legal hackers founded in Europe. However, with a global network, we still work locally, focusing on Swedish and Scandinavian issues. The team behind Stockholm Legal Hackers is the same team that initiated the Stockholm Legal Tech Meetup. Malin was a cornerstone of the legal technology community in Sweden. From reviving the Stockholm Legal Hackers to bringing students and businesses together to create and run the Stockholm Startup Bootcamp, she has tirelessly become a torchbearer of diligence, diversity and innovation in the community. The number of confirmed cases in Sweden remains low, but as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the virus, we decided that it was responsible for postponing the event from its original date.
