The Biden-Harris administration is pleased to announce that, for the first time in recent history, EOP is offering paid internship opportunities in several of our offices.

To participate in an internship program at EOP, participants must be U.S. citizens and at least 18 years of age prior to the first day of the program. Additional admission requirements vary by office. Health Insurance: World Bank Law Interns are responsible for their own health insurance and all costs resulting from accidents and/or illnesses during the internship, and must provide proof of valid global health insurance coverage. Country office internship: The Legal Vice-Presidency has limited its on-site internships to offices where a lawyer from the Legal Vice-Presidency is present. The Office of Administration provides administrative and operational support services for all ODP components. These services include financial management, information technology support, human resources management, library and research support, facilities management, procurement, design and printing, mail and logistics, human resources and physical security, counter-intelligence, emergency preparedness and corporate communications. legal advice, etc. The World Bank`s Legal Vice Presidency provides an opportunity for highly motivated law students to learn more about the mission and work of the World Bank and the Legal Vice President. The World Bank`s Legal Internship Program enables individuals to bring new perspectives, innovative ideas, and the latest research experiences to the day-to-day operations of the World Bank and enhance their legal skills while working in a multicultural environment. The International Section of NOAA`s Office of the Legal Counsel provides articling and articling opportunities for law students and law school graduates in the spring, summer, and fall.

The OECD encourages potential interns to stay for six months to get the best possible insight into their work at the OECD. A cost-of-living contribution of around €700 per full month of work is granted to trainees by the OECD. Remember that you must always be registered as a student during the internship. Costs: The World Bank does not reimburse participants in the World Bank`s Legal Internship Program in the form of cash fees or compensation. However, each World Bank lawyer shall be compensated in accordance with World Bank Group policies and standards in the form of (i) monetary fees/compensation paid by the University or another sponsoring organization acceptable to the Bank; or (ii) academic credits in accordance with the Bank`s fee schedule. Therefore, students participating in the World Bank`s Legal Internship Program should secure appropriate sources of funding for the duration of their internship. This position is open to current 2L law students. The internship is full-time (40 hours/week). We offer a scholarship equivalent to other paid not-for-profit legal rotations. We are committed to making our articling positions accessible to law students from all socio-economic backgrounds.
